Federal Leasing Information

The Federal Reserve Board (FRB) has published a number of Internet and paper documents explaining leasing and the new federal lease disclosures applicable to leases written after January 1, 1998. You can link to the FRB's Internet leasing information from this page.

The FRB has drawn very extensively on ACVL input in the development of its site and is appreciative of the Association's contributions. ACVL has contributed information, materials, and extensive editing to the FRB's effort. We have been very privileged as an Association to have worked so closely with the FRB and other federal agencies to help assure the completeness, accuracy, and relevance of the FRB information.

Because of the close working relationship between the FRB and the ACVL, there are many similarities between the leasing information found on each group's web site. For example, the FRB and the ACVL have mutually developed a Leasing Language Glossary that is found on both web sites.
